Since the first Longs Park Art & Craft Festival in 1979,
the number of exhibitors has expanded to 200 talented artists, and
guest attendance has swelled to some 20,000 art lovers from across
the mid-Atlantic region. Fine artists and craftspeople from 45 states,
the District of Columbia and 2 countries vied to be one of the 200
exhibitors in the 2007 Longs Park Art & Craft Festival.

From Friday, August 31 through Monday, September 3, 2007, this beautiful
Lancaster city park will be transformed into one of the top fine
art and craft shows in the country. Nationally rated the fourth
best in America, the festival will welcome guests, rain or shine,
from 10 am to 6 pm Friday through Sunday and from 10 am to 5 pm
Monday.

Even better than a gallery, at the Longs Park Art & Craft
Festival guests get to talk to the very artists who created the
works. In this way they take home more than a heirloom; they take
home its story, too. Plus, throughout the weekend selected artists
will actually demonstrate how they create their work.

Gary Genetti, Warwick, NY
Glass, from $250
Jurors selected the 200 best from nearly 1,200
applicants, including Warwick, NY glass designer Gary Genetti. His
Covered Jar with Frogs was hand blown and sandblast
etched. Using his original art design, he then overlaid the glass
with bold colors that with his amphibian wilderness light up any
room.
