June 5: Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen

Jon Cleary was born in England, but fell in love with the culture and style of New Orleans' soulful, complex music. Cleary regularly performs with other prolific musicians, including Bonny Raitt, B.B. King and Taj Mahal, among others. In 2016, Cleary's band won a Grammy for Best Regional Roots Music Album.

June 12: The Bros. Landreth

Canadian folk/alternative country band The Bros. Landreth features, as the name suggests, brothers Joey and David Landreth. Their debut album, "Let It Lie" won a Juno Award for the Roots Traditional Album of the Year in 2015. Juno awards are known as the Canadian equivalent to the American Grammy awards.

June 19: Tony Jackson

Tony Jackson is known for his velvety vocals, and he's often compared to country star Randy Travis. Some of his best-known singles are "The Grand Tour," "Old Porch Swing" and "Country Road."

June 26: Con Brio

Soul/rock and roll band Con Brio is a seven-person outfit known for its high-energy performance. The band has played at music festivals like Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. Music publication Consequence of Sound describes the band as a "party punk version of Sly and the Family Stone."

July 3: Patriotic Fireworks Celebration with The US Army Band: Pershing's Own

The U.S. Army Band Pershing's Own has played patriotic music since its inception in 1922. Its performance is consistently one of Long's Park's most popular Summer Music Series events, has attracted as many as 25,000 spectators in years past.

July 10: Luisito Rosario & Orchestra

Luisito Rosario performs several genres of music, including salsa and romantic styles. For the past 23 years, Rosario has performed with members of the Fania All-Stars, a group of salsa performers that started in the '60s.

July 17: "A Night on Broadway" with the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra

The Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, which has been performing for 75 seasons, will perform Broadway hits at Long's Park this summer.

July 24: The Steel Wheels

From the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia comes The Steel Wheels, a band known for its Americana songs that pay homage to the genre's roots, but also expand on them in a modern way. The group performed as part of the Summer Music Series in 2014 and 2017.

July 31: Aoife Scott

Irish up-and-coming folk singer Aoife Scott is known for her unique and powerful vocals. She is currently performing in venues across the United States and Ireland.

Aug. 7: Vieux Farka Toure

Vieux Farka Toure, son of Grammy winning Ali Farka Toure, is a Malian artist known for his blues, folk and soul music. He has collaborated with artists like Dave Matthews and Derek Trucks.

Aug. 14: Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience

Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience is a two-time Grammy award-winning band known for its roots and Americana flair. Simien himself advocated for and helped to establish, a category for the Grammy awards called Best Zydeco or Cajun Music Album. Simien performed in the 2019 Summer Music Series.

Aug. 21: Cherish the Ladies

Cherish the Ladies is an all-female group started in 1985 that plays Celtic music. The group has launched the careers of several Irish performers, including fiddlers Winifred Horan and Eileen Ivers, as well as folk singer Heidi Talbot.

Aug. 28: Devon Gilfillian

Delaware County native Devon Gilfillian is known best for his blues and soul music. In 2020, he debuted his album "Black Hole Rainbow," which was nominated for a Grammy in 2021.
