Diversity Statement
Long's Park Amphitheater Foundation's mission is to provide quality cultural entertainment for Lancaster County. For nearly 60 seasons, we have worked to accomplish this by presenting the best talent the art and music communities have to offer through the annual Art Festival and Summer Music Series. Each of these events celebrate and honor diversity of cultures, backgrounds and talents.
While the Foundation has strived over the years to ensure a diversity of talent is represented, recent world events have brought to light that we have more to do. As an organization, we are committed to supporting efforts that promote equality and celebrate diversity in art and music.
We are thankful for this time of reflection and opportunity to evaluate the ways we can better provide experiences that honor people from all walks of life and their valuable contributions to culture.
We aim to create an environment in our workspace and programs that embrace differences in age, color, disability, ethnicity, family or marital status, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical and mental ability, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, veteran status, and other characteristics.
