Parker Barrow, the blues-infused Southern rock band led by husband and wife duo Megan Kane (vocals) and Dylan Turner (drums), supported by the formidable Alex Bender (guitar) is a powerhouse group, taking the stage by storm as anything from a 5-piece to a 10-piece band – boasting a distinctive musical style. Forged from an immediate connection, the band finds inspiration in the infamous duo of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. Kane and Turner aim to infuse their music with the iconic energy of a dynamic duo, portraying a narrative where, instead of evading the law, they are a dynamic pair in pursuit of their rock ‘n’ roll dreams.

One thing is clear when you hear SPOT. This is something new. Rooted in the familiar yet utterly unique, this nimble Power Trio creates their own brand of progressive roots music blending deep jazz, blues, rock/grunge, funk and psychedelia; often during the same song. Driven by Scott's wildly unorthodox approach to the guitar, improvisation and songwriting; every concert is an entirely fresh experience. Playing festivals, theaters, taverns and nightclubs from coast to coast, they prove during every performance their dedication to the fact that making music is an honor and a gift.

Founded in 2014 by the husband-and-wife duo Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter, The War And Treaty has emerged as one of the most electrifying new acts in American music. They were nominated for the Best New Artist and Best American Roots Song at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards, and have also been nominated for Duo of the Year at the CMA Awards two years in a row and for Vocal Duo of the Year at the ACM Awards. They have won two Americana Music Awards (both for Duo/Group of the Year) and have received additional nominations and recognition from CMT Music Awards, Folk Alliance International, People’s Choice Country Awards, as well as from the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and theGrand Ole Opry.

The Ringgold Band

The Ringgold Band is one of the nation’s oldest and most distinguished community bands, and a source of immense pride. While we honor our historic roots as a Civil War regimental band—known as “The Band of the First Defenders”—we take even greater pride in the 174 years of music we have shared and the joy it has brought to communities throughout Berks and Lancaster Counties. Education remains central to our mission. For many years, the Ringgold Band has provided teaching and mentorship to middle and high school students through our outreach programs, impacting thousands of young musicians along the way. We also sponsor a chapter of the New Horizons International Music Association, offering music education and performance opportunities for adult learners. In addition, the band proudly supports the next generation of musicians through the Ringgold Band Young Artist Awards (RBYAA) scholarship, presented to graduating seniors from Berks County high schools who plan to continue their musical journey. Since the program began in 2006, more than 40 scholarships have been awarded to deserving students. Historically based in Reading, PA, the band is honored to have been named as the “Official Band of the city of Reading.”

Yonder Mountain String Band

Grammy-nominated Yonder Mountain String Band set the tone for a new way forward in acoustic music, carrying bluegrass into rooms and conversations it had never reached before. Nearly three decades later, that same spirit still guides them, alive and present on Good As True (2026), the band’s 12th studio album. The record captures Yonder in full stride. It’s unguarded and in motion, preserving the spark of musicians playing in real time and leaning into everything they have learned along the way.

Las Guaracheras

Las Guaracheras is an all-female salsa sextet that originated in Cali in 2017. Throughout their career, they have explored the instrumental format with vibraphone and sought to learn from the rich legacy of salsa groups, while maintaining a contemporary vision of the salsa sound. Their rhythmic, melodic, and harmonic exploration enhances the lyrics and the stories they wish to tell.

Low Lily

With a vocal and instrumental blend that has been dubbed “outstanding” and “meticulous”, the members of Low Lily (Liz Simmons, Flynn Cohen, and newest member Lily Sexton) come together to create a signature sound that has captivated audiences throughout the US, UK, and Canada. Low Lily is the colloquial name for the Trout Lily, a wildflower that grows in the northeast and in regions further afield. Like its namesake, Low Lily the band has been blooming across the musical landscape since 2015- throughout the northeast and beyond. Liz Simmons (guitar, banjo & vocals), Flynn Cohen (guitar, mandolin & vocals), and Lily Sexton (fiddle & vocals) blend their considerable individual talents into a stylistic bouquet of energetic fiddle music, introspective folk, bluegrass, and Americana. The trio has deep roots in the fiddle and string band traditions of North America and the Celtic diaspora. Low Lily’s recordings have received noteworthy attention with two #1 songs on international folk radio, and two Independent Music Award wins. Their original song Hope Lingers On (written by former bandmate Lissa Schneckenburger), has been sung by choirs around the world as an anthem for peace and justice. The core trio will be joined by Noah Harrington (Acoustic Nomads) on double bass.

New Breed Brass Band

New Breed Brass Band is one of the leading modern brass bands carrying forward the rich musical traditions of New Orleans while adding their own bold, contemporary style. Formed by musicians raised in the city’s parade and street music culture, the group blends classic brass band sounds with funk, soul, jazz, hip-hop, rock, and Caribbean influences. Their high-energy performances and innovative approach have made them a standout force in the next generation of New Orleans music. Mentored by Trombone Shorty, the band earned widespread acclaim with their Grammy-nominated debut album Made In New Orleans and a second Grammy nomination for their live release recorded after performing at Jazz Fest ahead of The Rolling Stones. Rooted in tradition but always pushing boundaries, New Breed Brass Band continues to represent the spirit, sound, and future of New Orleans.

J & The Causeways

New Orleans soul/rock powerhouse ensemble J & The Causeways debut album, Motions, conjures a universal theme of togetherness and compassion — melodies and lyrics cultivated with a keen understanding of reaching one another through healing and transcendence. Singer and keyboardist Jordan Anderson leads with a soaring level of octave prowess and sonic range akin to that of other renowned soul acts like St. Paul & The Broken Bones or Brittany Howard. Captured by famed musicians/producers Robert Mercurio and Ben Ellman (both members of NOLA cosmic funk outfit Galactic) at Studio in the Country and Esplanade Studios, Motions is a record soaked in the freewheelin’ ethos and sonic tones of a vibrant city that Anderson proudly calls home.

Low Cut Connie

Adam Weiner is a rock & roll artist from Philadelphia who has released 7 studio albums under the name Low Cut Connie. Since forming in 2010, Low Cut Connie has earned a devoted fanbase that includes President Barack Obama, Sir Elton John and Bruce Springsteen. In 2024, he released the award-winning documentary film ART DEALERS. He has received acclaim from The New Yorker (“Pandemic Person of the Year”), Rolling Stone, NPR's Fresh Air and appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s #PlayAtHome Series and PBS Newshour. His writing has been published in SPIN, Billboard, and Talkhouse. On July 3, 2026, he will release his 8th studio album Livin in the USA.

Ghost Funk Orchestra

Ghost Funk Orchestra is the brainchild of composer/multi-instrumentalist Seth Applebaum. What started as a one-man recording project has now evolved into a powerhouse live band. It’s a sonic kaleidoscope that defies genre specification, but draws heavy influence from the worlds of soul, psych rock, salsa, and beyond. Their unique blend of genres has attracted praise from the likes of NPR, Bandcamp, KUTX, Brooklyn Vegan, Earmilk, and more. Over the years they've had the honor of sharing the stage with the likes of Os Mutantes, Grace Potter, Marco Benevento, La Luz, Monophonics, The Nude Party, and The Jack Moves, as well as playing such legendary festivals as Montreal Jazz, LEVITATION, Treefort, Telluride Jazz, Otis Mountain Get Down, and BRIC's NYC Winter Jazz.

Over a career spanning more than two decades, he has earned praise from outlets like The New York Times and Pitchfork, received Grammy and Americana Music Award recognition, and had songs recorded by artists including Kenny Chesney, Lee Ann Womack, and Brothers Osborne. Blending humor, honesty, and insight, Carll has become one of Americana music’s most respected and beloved voices. His tenth album, We’re Only Human, is a reflective and deeply personal collection of songs exploring forgiveness, self-awareness, grace, and finding peace in a chaotic world. Written as a guidepost for his own life, the record pairs Carll’s lyrical brilliance with themes of acceptance, growth, and staying grounded. Both timely and timeless, We’re Only Human showcases an artist continuing to evolve while reminding listeners of our shared humanity.

Our free to the public performances offer a wide variety of musical genres that are not usually available to the people of Lancaster County without a ticket fee. From blues, latin, folk, country, rock and roll, funk, world music, and more, every Sunday features an experience which is different from the Sunday before and Lancastrians can count on us to deliver engaging performances that are fun for the whole family.

In celebration of the Fourth of July, the Foundation produces the annual Patriotic concert, which includes a military band, flag presentations from our community’s esteemed veterans, and a dynamite (pun intended!) fireworks display and drone show! For good reason, this concert is our most well-attended every year.

The Long’s Park Amphitheater is regionally and nationally recognized by music aficionados as a great outdoor venue for its natural and architectural beauty as well as the quality of the musicians the Foundation brings to its stage. We are proud to continue fulfilling its purpose to benefit our community.
